Below is a very moving film about slavery in the Sudan, which we are now considering to show in Ottawa. Let us know what you think. We feel this is a powerful movie and a very important issue that simply is largely ignored worldwide and it’s severity and magnitude is truly horrifying. Here is a ten minute trailer for the film, ‘My Slave My Infidel’.

Another film we are considering is Mr. Conservative, an extraordinary and sentimental film about Barry Goldwater made by his granddaughter. We really like this film and hope to show it soon on it’s own night or at least have it at the film festival we are planning for the near future.
Here is a clip but it is really worth seeing the whole movie. Lots of surprises in it and this is especially great for anyone who has not heard of this fine libertarian and his accomplishments and character.
